When Arlette Felberg founded Albuquerque Chamber Soloists in 1991, it was with the firm belief that our concerts should not only feature New Mexico's finest musicians presenting stimulating, inventive programs of the greatest works of chamber music, but also be affordable for the Albuquerque community to attend. Throughout its history and to this day, ACS remains one of the very best values in New Mexico's ever-expanding performing arts scene. In fact, a ticket to one of our concerts is less than a movie ticket and a bucket of popcorn. 

This means that ticket sales alone are far from sufficient to cover the costs of each concert. We are thus reliant upon our family of donors and supporters to help us remain the best arts value in Albuquerque. 

Albuquerque Chamber Soloists has no paid staff - the majority of your donation goes directly to the presentation of our concerts and the compensation of our brilliant musicians. All of the ancillary work – accounting, publications, PR, house management - is handled by our amazing volunteer Board of Directors. This allows us not only to maintain the high quality of repertoire and musicians, but to do so without increasing ticket prices.

As always, we are enormously grateful for the generosity of our supporters. With your help, we will continue our 29-year tradition of Friends Playing for Friends.
